Key Ingredient Benefits:
This hydroquinone-free serum addresses dark spots and discoloration caused by daily environmental exposure, and contains active ingredients known to promote collagen synthesis and prevent lipid oxidation.
Swiss Apple stem cells are derived from the rare Swiss Apple, winning the prize in European Innovation “Best Active Ingredient” in 2008. This active ingredient delays chronological ageing on a cellular level. Clinical trials conducted by the company who discovered this ingredient showed that 100% of the participants saw a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles after use.
Three forms of Vitamin C are included in this potent mix. L-Ascorbic Acid, an acidic form of Vitamin C, is highly beneficial for its exfoliating properties. Magnesium Ascorbyl Phosphate is a stable water-soluble form of Vitamin C and a potent antioxidant, known for its skin lightening and brightening effects. A stable, oil-soluble form of Vitamin C, Tetrahexyldecyl Ascorbate, increases collagen levels, reduces melanin production, brightens skin, and repairs the effects of UV exposure and other environmental damage. It is considered to be the most potent Vitamin C compound, and has a higher rate of penetration because it is lipid-soluble, like human skin.
Ferulic acid offers superior antioxidant properties to protect the skin from damage caused by ultraviolet light, making it highly effective in fighting free radicals, especially when combined with Vitamins C and E.
Arbutin, extracted from Bearberry plants, inhibits the formation of melanin pigment and protects against free radical damage.
Apply after cleansing and lotion/toner apply 2-3 drops of serum to forehead, chin, cheeks and neck and massage in gently. Can be layered with other serums. Follow with moisturizer or recommended treatment product.
Multi B5 Serum promotes superior hydration within the skin by reducing redness and inflammation, stimulating skin epithelialization to heal wounds more thoroughly, improving skin barrier mechanism repair, and normalizing sebum production.
DL-Panthenol, a form of Vitamin B5, improves hydration to our stratum corneum – the outer layer of the skin – by acting as a humectant that attracts moisture from the environment to the skin’s surface.
Niacinamide, or Vitamin B3, reduces the rate of cellular decline. Two important enzymes, NADH and NADPH, contribute to the production of cellular energy and lipids, both of which are responsible for cell growth. With a sufficient supply of both enzymes, our skin more effectively resists environmental damage and aging. However, the levels of both NADH and NADPH decline as we grow older. When applied topically, Vitamin B3 reduces their rate of decline.
Pyridoxine, a form of Vitamin B6, prevents the production of excess sebum (oil) and is an essential nutrient to have in abundance so other B vitamins will function correctly.
After cleansing and lotion/toning, apply 2-3 drops of Multi B5 Serum to your forehead, chin and cheeks and massage in gently. Can be layered with other serums. Follow with moisturizer or recommended treatment product.
