We ran a Facebook Live video on our  Peptide Eye Repair last week - check it out.

While this product is absolutely amazing – I unfortunately was not! - as it appears live video isn’t something I excel at - so I thought I would follow up with more information.

Peptide Eye Repair by DermaDNA is a potent anti-ageing eye treatment containing multi source peptides and antioxidants in a creamy texture to lock in moisture and stop dehydration.

The skin around our eye area is very fine and thin but is also extremely busy due to the muscle movement created every time we smile or laugh. And not only is it fine and busy, but also has a lack of oil secretions and is therefore less able to retain moisture leaving it vulnerable to drying out. As such it’s usually the first place we notice those tell-tale signs of ageing – wrinkles!!!

With this in mind, DermaDNA set out to develop a product that would help combat some of the effects of environmental stressors and cellular destruction caused by our everyday lifestyle.

By combining peptides and antioxidants along with mineral mica in a creamy texture, this powerful eye repair formulation stimulates the production of collagen and elastin, while also relaxing muscle movement and protecting against dehydration. The mineral mica’s are reflective minerals and so help to deflect dark circles from under the eye.

The use of the peptide Acetyl Hexapetide-3 inhibits the nerves from sending a signal to the muscle effectively relaxing expression lines, while Palmitoyl Oligopeptide stimulates fibroblast cells to boost collagen production and Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5 has the ability to penetrate the deeper layers of the skin, stimulating collagen production and promoting healthy tissue growth.

With the inclusion of Vitamin A to encourage cellular regeneration, Vitamin C for free radical protection and Vitamin E, we have also countered the effects of environmental damage.

Peptide Eye Repair is only part of an overall skin care programme and should be used morning and, however best of all, when used under make up it provides a lipid barrier between the skin and make-up stopping dehydration and effectively reducing fine lines.

Oh and did I mention it can also be used on the upper lip??
