Now for the first time, dermaDNA can help you understand how your skin ages, how much it has aged prematurely, and what you can do to give yourself a more youthful appearance.
With its patented Cellular DNA Assessment Test, dermaDNA will measure your skin cell DNA damage and provide you with a personalized product regime designed to repair and protect. Increased elasticity plus a reduction in wrinkling, hyperpigmentation and skin cell DNA damage equals younger, healthier- looking skin. And it all takes place on the cellular level.
The most important test for you skin's health.

80% of premature aging is the direct result of DNA damage.
When skin cell DNA is damaged, the skin's ability to repair and protect itself becomes degraded. Damaged skin cells result in lower production of collagen, elastin, hyaluronic acid, and other vital proteins. The visible effects of this loss include wrinkles, reduced elasticity, and hyperpigmentation.
What is DNA?
DNA is the complete set of genetic instructions or “blueprint” of you as a unique individual. Every cell in your body contains your DNA, and there are approximately 50 trillion of these tiny cells involved in your body's maintenance - from brain, blood and organ cells to skin cells.
The dermaDNA Test only looks at skin cell DNA when measuring the level of damage to your skin.

What Causes Sun Damage?
Sunlight consists of radiation of different wavelengths including UVA and UVB. Both of these light rays accelerate the aging of skin including wrinkles, age spots, dryness and rough texture. They are also linked to certain forms of skin cancer. Over 90% of non melanoma skin cancer is associated with UVR induced damage of the skin.

Can I measure the amount of UV damage in my skin?
Yes! The dermaDNA MD test is the first test of its kind in the world that can determine the damage you have done to your skin through exposure to UV over the years. A cotton swab is rubbed along the outside of your nose in order to assess the level of damage to your skin cell DNA. This is the part of your body most often exposed to the sun. The skin cells in the swab are analyzed in a special laboratory and your confidential results are sent to your doctor’s office.
